Staff completed an assessment of the condition of Boulder Valley School District facilities and the Capital Improvement Planning Committee worked with district staff to identify and prioritize capital improvement needs and advised the Board of Education regarding the long term facility needs of the District. A complete building and site assessment was performed on all district buildings, encompassing over 4.5 million square feet of district assets. In addition, the committee identified capital improvement needs that extend beyond those of specific schools and will strengthen district infrastructure as well as expand educational opportunities for students. This work is the basis for this Educational Facility Master Plan which identifies $576 million in capital projects that will improve learning environments in all schools. Download Plan
